Even though Greater Seattle’s housing market has been hot, some parts of S. King, Pierce and Snohomish county continue to recover at a more modest rate. It’s not uncommon for houses in parts of Renton, for example, to take 3 or more months to sell. This is true nationwide as well, and in the excitement to talk about how crazy the markets in major metro areas is, it’s easy to forget that most areas of the nation have not been experiencing double-digit appreciation year-over-year. With that said, Realtor magazine came out with a list of 5 things that sellers can do to help bring in offers. …and #5 on the list?
