Stroll around any popular neighborhood in the region and you will likely have noticed new multi-family developments. Or not…they have become so common that many folks don’t even notice them anymore. More than 10,000 multi-family dwelling units were added to King and Pierce County in 2015, and even more are scheduled to be added this year. Colliers, a commercial real estate firm, published a study of the apartment market for 2016 and found that there are 80,042 apartment (units) in the pipeline for King county alone.
