Record low mortgage rates - very unexpected. 

In the early summer, global investments shifted again as investors sought more conservative places to put their money.  These actions subsequently led mortgage rates to drive to record lows.  I have to admit, I'm surprised as well, but not as surprised (and relieved) as those that work in the mortgage industries.  This may just be a banner year for their businesses.

That aside, if you haven't refinanced for whatever reason, here is a very compelling chance for you to do so.  Rates are bouncing along the all-time-low threshold.
